Applicability

It could be included as a part of the lean start up process. Specifically in the second stage, which is aimed to put in the client shoes.

Next?

In the whole process of generating a business model, the next steps are designing, prototyping and communicating.

First step: One member of each team has to lie down on the cardboard and other teammate or teammates have to trace the outline of the body in the cardboard. In other words: You have to draw the shape of the body of one of the teammates.

Second step: open the toolboxes and use the materials provided that you can find inside and with these things and magazines you have to make a collage of an audiovisual entrepreneur. In some groups this profesional will be a woman and in others will be a man.

What should your entrepreneur includes?

The point is that the collage shows the skills, competences, thoughts, concerns, dreams, passions, worries and goals of this professional in every part of the body, from head to toe.

  • Begining with the head: the collage of your professionals have to express in the head what do they have in mind? What do they think? What are the most important thoughts for them? Remember that they are audiovisual entrepreneurs.
  • In the ears: What do people say to them? What messages do they receive from friends, media, family environment…?
  • In the eyes: What do they see? How do they see the world? What do they read? Books, social media, TV programs, TV series…?
  • In the mouth: What do they talk about? What languages do they speak? What social media do they use?
  • In the heart: What do they love? What are they passionate about? How do they feel about their job?
  • In hands: What are they able to do? What are their technical skills? For example: Are they good at technology?
  • Let’s go to the belly, to the stomach: What is the center of their lives? What do they care about? What is their main concern, the most important worry for them?

And finally, the feet: Where do they go? What are their goals for the future? What is the visión of themselves as audiovisual entrepreneurs? What are their dreams?

Third step: you will have to make a brief presentation of your professional.

When you have finished, don’t forget to give your man or your woman a name.
