Main Goal

Learning tools and strategies to improve the brand identity through an assignment which consist on working with real clients. Having a deeper understanding of entrepreneurship and storytelling.

Organisation

Students from 7 Schools of different countries/regions should be involved.
The participants should work in (international) mixed up groups of students in the field of audio-visual during the project-meeting.
Every group has its own real client to work with since the assignment until the presentation.
Before this meeting, the students should work in groups of the same school/class in the prework “sell yourself”

Special needs

The students must already have the basic know-how of producing short movies and editing skills.
Technical equipment: DSLR, audio tools, editing work station.

Outcome

At the end of this project-week the students did create in each group a commercial video and story for the social media profile of the client.

Applicability

This project-week is an integrated part of the of the six-week concept to implement storytelling and entrepreneurship as a key element in advertising and marketing.

First step: 6 weeks ahead, end of previous project-week

Second step: 4 weeks ahead

  • Work at each participating school within the next four weeks on the prework.
  • Book the facility and ressources needed to organize the project-week

Third step: 2 weeks ahead

  • Inform each partner about the concrete planning for the
  • Advice al the partner to upload the results of the prework until latest 1 week ahead of the meeting to an ftp-server.

DAY 1:
-Presentation of the week.

-Keynote: “What is personal branding?”.

-Ice breaker activity: “Building personal branding”.

-Prework presentations

-Keynote: “Storytelling. Breaking the stereotypes in advertisement.”

DAY 2:
-Visiting Carabanchel Business Incubator.

-Entrepreneurship in Madrid: “How does a business incubator work?”

-Keynote: “Building your personal brand in the international market”.

– Presentation of the assignment.

– Briefing: Each group gather with its client so he/she can explains what parts of his/her profile must be improved in the assignment.

-Presentation.

-Feedback.
