This is an icebreaker activity to make the students get to know each other easily and prepare themselves to work in a new project.
Time: 20-30 minutes.
Needs a classroom or open space, bingo cards made by the teacher beforehand, and some prizes (candies, pencils, or other knick-knacks).
Students gain confidence and get a good feeling with their classmates to work together in the new project.
The teacher explains to the students they are going to play Bingo in a “different way”. The students don’t have to sit down. They have to walk around the classroom and ask the classmates questions to find someone who fits each statement of the boxes in the bingo cards and write his/her name in the box.
The students can NOT repeat the same name more than twice.
The students will have to complete the bingo cards in the same way as an ordinary bingo.
Prizes: There will be 2 prizes.
One for the first Line (horizontal) and another one for the first Bingo (all the boxes completed with names of partners).
