Lisa Weeda

Lisa Weeda (1989) writes, organises a literary program and was co-host with the literary podcastOndercast. She moderates, interviews and teaches virtual reality, transmedia storytelling and non-fiction at ArtEZ Hogeschool voor de Kunsten. Her prose appeared in Das Magazin, Tirade online, De Revisor, Volkskrant, Theaterkrant, Vice, De Optimist and Hard // Hoofd. In 2015-2016 she was part of the Slow Writing Lab, the talent program of the Dutch Foundation for Literature. Since 2014 she has been a writerwith the Wintertuin Agency | De Nieuwe Oost (The New East). In 2016, her literary non-fiction novella ‘De benen van Petrovski’ was published with Wintertuin, which was praised in the national newspaper NRC by Elsbeth Etty. Etty wrote, among other things: ‘Weeda understands the art of omission, which means that the reader is elegantly put to work.’ In May 2017, Lisa signed with De Bezige Bij for her debut novel.
