Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport. It runs for seven years, from 2014 to 2020, with organisations invited to apply for funding each year to undertake creative and worthwhile activities.

Erasmus+ aims to modernise education, training and youth work across Europe. It is open to education, training, youth and sport organisations across all sectors of lifelong learning, including school education, further and higher education, adult education and the youth sector. It offers exciting opportunities for UK participants to then study, work, volunteer, teach and train abroad in Europe.

This group of educational institutes applied for funding at the Dutch National Agency of Erasmus+.
We are granted for this project with a budget of € 161.213,- . A lot of money but it will not cover all the cost. We are very proud that Erasmus+ recognize the benefit of this project for all the media education in Europe.

Switzerland is not a member of the Erasmus+ program which means that the Swiss partner is just an associated partner and can’t have any financial profit out of this grant. But of course, we will all have the intellectual profit of each other.

Switzerland understands the benefit of the collaboration this group of educational institutes. Therefore, Switzerland invited the group to have an extra meeting in St. Gallen which will not be funded by Erasmus+ but by the Swiss counterpart of Erasmus+
